Website: mmlfurniture.co.uk
Sector: Universities · Offices · Education
Overview
MML Furniture is a UK-based supplier of furniture for universities, offices, and educational spaces. Although a sister company to E‑quip4Education, MML operated independently with its own website and distinct visual identity tailored to the contract and commercial sector.
Role & Responsibilities
As a Web / Graphic Designer, I worked closely with the company director who regularly briefed me on marketing campaigns, product updates, and visual improvements.
In the early years, I was responsible for catalogue design, laying out MML’s furniture ranges for print.
As marketing shifted online, my role evolved to include:
- Designing email campaigns for product launches, seasonal offers, and promotions.
- Creating landing page layouts in Photoshop and Illustrator, and building them using Dreamweaver and SellerDeck.
- Adding new product ranges and maintaining listings within the website.
- Designing fragment graphics to highlight key features or best-sellers.
- Retouching product images and applying colour changes when needed to improve visual presentation or match brand guidelines.
- Producing and uploading short product or promotional videos to YouTube and embedding them on relevant web pages.
The role involved ongoing, close collaboration with the company director to ensure design consistency and brand alignment across all ranges.
Software Used
